Family of deer & new Women's Circle starting 8/21!

Happy Saturday friends!

It's a short newsletter week but I still wanted to pop in and share a few photos and of course some memes!

Details: Every Wednesday starting Aug 21st, 6-9pm, $210 for the 6 weeks.

More details: The first 1 to 1.5 hours is in my open air barn in the lower pasture, surrounded by the animals—weather permitting. If it's too hot/cold, or pouring buckets, we are inside This is where we "check in" and I'll probably give a prompt for check in—for instance, " What was the good, the bad, and the ugly for the week?" This is where we really tune in and listen to each other, saving questions for the studio Often one of the animals is in with us wandering around, a mini donkey, sometimes it's a few goats, sometimes it's my big white livestock guardian dog Tessa.

Then we head inside for the art portion. This is where music, laughter, and conversation flows freely! The extroverts naturally hold it steady until the introverts feel comfortable enough to join in—it surprised me how well that worked out This session we will be creating an art journal with the word to focus on being given the week before so we can gather our thoughts on it, maybe some imagery to collage onto the page. No drawing is necessary and it is fun to play with colors, paints and materials. I will walk everyone through it all. Art journaling is cool because it takes out the expectation that you are trying to create fine art, instead it gives permission to be curious and creative and just play. There is a small supply list and I can spot you supplies for the first session if yours don't arrive in time.

Because anxiety is so common nowadays I am happy to have you come for a little farm visit before hand to see the animals, the space, and meet me

THE RANCH:

The goats are enjoying the tree branches that broke off during the storm. They love pine:

The big old Muscadine grape arbor has started to collapse. We knew it was going to happen but it's a bummer all the same:

Girl gooooooats! I love how they line up according to size:

Wynter, Sweetness, and Jaffee in the upper pasture. It finally stopped storming every night so they could go eat fresh grass. (Jaffee is scratching his chest on the hay bag!):

Sweetness!

Sweetness could actually fit under Wynter's belly if he wanted but I've never seen him do it :-)

THE MEMES:

I've actually never had an Arabian but I've known people who have loved them :-) It's a joke!
