Happy Saturday friends!

I made a video of the donkeys rolling around (Jaffee with his feet sticking straight up!) and the baby goats playing, you can see it here!

It is finally here! OMGeeeee! It's fall! Wednesday night we went to bed with no air conditioning on and the windows open and woke up to a house that was 67º! Yes! It only got up to 69º on Thursday so I found my foot warmer and plugged it in under my desk, happy tootsies:

I know, I know, you're not supposed to have favorites but Parsley has such a quirky personality, I just love her to pieces! (She's in the video I posted above too!)

Her sister Rosemary is very sweet, much calmer ❤️

(And yes, I took that bundle of baling twine away when she was done playing.)

When I got back, Wynter, Sweetness, and Jaffee were waiting for me in the upper pasture. Look at their tracks in the dew:

Shroooooooms! When I was 17 my best friend from my years in California came to visit me and we took my parent's camping gear to Emerald Isle to camp at the beach for a few days. We met a couple of boys our age who had a baggie of mushrooms that they had obviously already been enjoying because pretty much all they could say was, "Shroooooooms!" and then laugh uproariously. They were funny until they were boring. Michelle and I were not the type to try stuff like that :-)

I found this on the edge of my forest, it's called a Cauliflower fungus and is edible:

Not sure what these are but I love the tiny snails on the undersides that I keep finding:

Here is what I came up with to keep from accidentally slicing my fingers to ribbons—line the recycling bag with a paper grocery bag first. If the glass breaks it's much harder to cut thick paper:

The Great British Baking Show is back! So happy! I love the kindness in that show, sure it's a competition but they are all so kind to each other ❤️

This season, this beautiful 20 year old young man is a contestant and I'm seriously considering painting him:

I was wandering Instagram and found this woman who was riding a horse-like contraption in order to heal a shoulder injury (so she couldn't ride her real horse) and I thought: Wow! Horseback riding is such amazing exercise for your whole body including core. I don't ride anymore (and Rayn would have been the only one I would have felt safe on) but since seeing that I wondered what kind of machines were out there—and found this on Amazon:

It's both funny and intriguing...
