The "Clairs"

Back in 2022 I wrote a bit about the clairs but I thought I'd post these little graphics. I wish I knew who to credit!

When people find out that I regularly talk with Mom in heaven or with the animals, they have a lot of questions: How long have you been able to do it? Is this a gift or something you learned? Can anyone do it?

Here are some answers. I've been paying attention to my intuition since I was about 9 years old, here's a video. Personally, I think everyone has the ability. Whether or not it's of interest is a whole other ballgame :-) Since my experience at 9 years old, I've been interested. I grew up in an evangelical church and I think that helped me form the idea that we were all intertwined with each other and God. Being able to hear my Inner Voice, or just having a knowing, wasn't particularly shocking. Once I hit my 20s though, and was out of my parent's house and church, that's when the real learning began. I realized that I could ask questions of my Inner Voice and get answers almost immediately.

I don't remember talking to the other side until 1998, I was 28. The first person to pass away that I was really close to was my Grandma Hall, my mom's mom. She had an accident and was on life support. Sitting on a little short stool in the hospital room and holding her hand, I suddenly felt her just whoooosh leave her body. I knew that she was no longer in there. Shortly after we learned that she had no brain activity and Grandpa decided to let her go. It wasn't until years later that I found that everyone had had their own experience with Grandma leaving before her physical body died. Soon after I began hearing her, feeling her around me, smelling her, and then, talking with her. Shortly after I was able to talk to Mom about it and she had been having the same experiences. We both found validation in each other's stories, particularly in how Grandma sounded which was very neutral—very much how my Inner Voice had always sounded to me. No anxiety, no excitement. Just calmly neutral.

In my 30s I was really interested in exploring my guides on the other side. In my 40s I bought my mare Rayn and from our first moments together I could hear her. I had always had a way with animals and often inexplicably knew what they were needing or wanting but don't remember being able to hear their voice in my head until her.

She and I share an incredible bond of love and trust and while I can and do talk to many animals now, none of them (yet) are as clear as she is ❤️ although Sweetness the mini donkey is a close second!

All of this is to say, yes, I truly believe it's in everyone. Whether or not you chose to pursue it is up to you. It takes practice and patience but it's there if you want it. I'm 54 which means my first experience was 45 years ago—but I didn't really start paying attention until I was 20. So I've been learning and practicing for 34 years!

For me, it seems that some of the clairs are stronger than others. The most common one for me is hearing (clairaudience) and then knowing (claircognizance). The others pop up here and there except for tasting (clairgustance) which I've never experienced.
