Happy Saturday friends!

Happy Birthday to meeeeeee! This coming Wednesday is my big day, yay! I always say I'm going to take time off and this year I actually was able to fit all my current clients into Monday and Tuesday! Yeeehaaawww! We'll be headed over to Aunt Katy and Uncle Chris's house for my birthday dinner on Wednesday where she will be whipping up some special dinner yummies including my favorite birthday cake, German Chocolate and then the whole family will look at me like this:

I had a lot of words this week and no ability to write them. Last weekend was the 9 month anniversary of Mom's crossing. Lots of feelings but my chest felt like concrete—no words, few tears, a lot of anger. Yikes. But then I had 2 therapy sessions with my hospice grief counselor and my regular person and started to feel a little better, a little more loose. My grief counselor left me with this:

I'm currently in Task 4 (they are in no particular order and you go through each a lot) by finding an enduring connection with Mom. As a fellow small business owner, we often talked about our businesses to each other. A few weeks ago I started asking her questions about how to do something or how to word something and have been getting answers. Then I started asking her to help me get new neurofeedback and coaching clients and she stirred the celestial pot and had them reach out to me! How cool is that?

Aunt Katy and I spent some time together last weekend too, we needed that!

Speaking of wonderful people and things to share, I ran across this kid on Nextdoor who makes absolutely gorgeous charcuterie boards, I ran right out and bought one! Great prices too! If you're in the Triangle area of NC, send him a text and ask to see what he has available:

And this popped up on Nextdoor too and I couldn't stop laughing! This guy must have been visiting family in Wisconsin but it's poison ivy no matter where you're located 😂 And OMG, it was under "tree identification!" 😂

But no, I still scream like a little girl when I walk through one. Lord.

I used to find hundreds of snails under the outside window sills when I was a kid in southern California but they are rare enough now to be of interest:
