WWJD aka What Would Julia Do?

Hello friends!

I had a dream early this morning about that acronym WWJD—do you remember that? It stood for What Would Jesus Do? My dream gave me a twist though, WWJD stood for What Would Julia Do? Meaning, what would my higher self, my soul, do in any given situation? It gave me a giggle in the wee hours of the morning and I scribbled it down on my notebook that I keep next to my bed so I wouldn't forget.

When I got up to do my morning writing I saw it and mulled it over awhile. I thought it an interesting twist on the original. I was raised Christian and always thought the WWJD a nice reminder of acting with love. Over time my beliefs morphed and changed and became what they are today—the basics being my belief in a higher power and that there have been many prophets of God's love through the ages and that they continue to arrive on Earth.

What Would Julia Do seems like such a sweet reminder of my soul's connection to God and a question to ask myself each time I get stuck in the whirlpool of human fear and indecision.
