Want to hug mini donkeys and ponies?

Happy Saturday friends!

My brother came to visit from Friday to Tuesday and we had so much fun! It was Mom's and Katy's birthdays (and in case you're new, they are both in heaven now, 2022 and 2025 respectively) and we did things they would have loved doing. Shopping, eating, laughing, telling stories :-)

When I visited my brother 2 weeks ago we did the same. We repotted a bunch of plants, which sounds so mundane but it really wasn't :-) Mom had a green thumb which we both inherited and some of those plants were hers:

And of course I got to visit the princess:

While he was here we shopped for throw pillows for my living room (they were all smoky from the fire in January so they were tossed) and found two new-to-me side tables for my living room from Facebook Marketplace. You can see the cute little tables below along with the last bit of art to be hung in that pile behind the chair. There were four stacks like this!

We really wanted to get art hung on the big wall in my dining room but it was feeling so overwhelming! He had the idea to lay it all out on the floor in front of B-Rad's coffee bar. The wall we wanted to cover is 14 feet long so it took some playing around but eventually we went from this:

B-Rad was also busy and finished the grading of the front yard and got the seed down:

Less than a week later we had baby grass popping up!

And now exactly one week later, a green haze is covering the area, yay!
