Speaking of hemp! A storm was on the horizon Wednesday so the farmers were feverishly working to get their hemp cut and put up before the freezing temps. They cut it, stacked it in the field before loading it into bags and taking it away. Unfortunately just before our first snow storm we had a wind storm and the wind's greedy fingers found some of that hemp and flung it across Highway 66! Knowing what that hemp can bring in per acre...I was cringing when Brad showed me the video he took—so much money blowing around! He said there was a guy who stopped and was stuffing it into his trunk!

Maybe the farmers were able to track the majority of it down in the eastern neighborhoods it blew into...that's what I'm hoping for anyway.
