Please pray for my Aunt Katy!

Hi friends,

Yesterday I was speaking of jumbled emotions and feeling sad, angry, scared. Today I'm talking about another reason I'm feeling all of those things. A couple of weeks ago, my Aunt Katy, Mom's younger sister and second mommy to my brother and me, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer that has moved into her liver, spleen, and lymph nodes. We are all in shock. Her doctor has scheduled her to start chemo on Friday August 30th. The first chemo appointment will be seven hours long. She will have 3-4 rounds (every 21 days) and then surgery, then more chemo. She is very happy that the doctor wants to fight, just like she does!

She already fought breast cancer (11 years ago) so has some idea what to expect but still...

So if you're a praying person, please pray.
