MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

I don't really expect you to read this at 6am on Christmas day but figure you might need a break from the family at some point :-) 

My brother was in this past week and we did all the family things, dinner at my Aunt Katy's (that's my brother and mom, dad and aunt in the background)
brunch here, some shopping, and as always when Uncle Michael is here, movies in the evening. This week we saw our favorite Christmas movies: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, and Elf and then of course because it's my brother, Prometheus and Alien Covenant. Help. Now we've seen ALL of the Alien franchise. Yay. And then we had to watch the Great British Baking Show because there was no way I could sleep after THAT lol.

The most exciting thing for me this week was that my new tshirts and hoodie arrived from teespring! I wasn't sure of the quality and wanted to make sure I approved before telling you all about them! I grew up Christian and while I don't follow the church anymore, I have pieces and parts of me that of course come from that. Do you remember the children's song, This Little Light of Mine? About not hiding your light. My favorite people are the ones that let their light shine out for the world to see. And after these last two years of pandemic sadness, we need EACH AND EVERY ONE of us to shine as BRIGHTLY as we are able!

The last item in my teespring shop is this hoodie—I'm probably always going to laugh out loud when I think how it came about!

I was talking with my brother on the phone and he laughingly called himself a “lumberjack gay” but the emphasis was on the “gay” and it sounded like he said LumberjacKAY! I was thinking, “Huh. This isn’t a term I’ve heard before. I guess he means like “lumberjack fabulous” or something!” Which of course he is! When I finally realized what he actually said and he finally realized what I heard we were howling with laughter. Thus the “Lumberjackée” was born. You’re welcome ;-)
I'm working on more designs (goats and horses to start) over the Christmas break and I will let you know when they are up!

Christmas Eve will be calm, just the 3 of us doing farm chores together tonight, new Christmas jammies, reading the Christmas story. Tomorrow Brad and I will head out for morning chores while Michael makes cinnamon rolls, eggs, and hot chocolate. Then it's present time! We will be having Christmas dinner at the farm with Mom, Dad, my aunt and uncle. The day after we are hosting a brunch for the big kids and grandkids, there will be 12 of us for that one!
