I'm supposed to send good energy to WHO??

Happy Saturday friends,

The Monday Fall Equinox Meditation with the Herd went great and there were 20 women here, yay! I did a guided meditation and then paired everyone off with a reflection question to guide their sharing. The herd was great and, of course, the donkeys 🫏 were their typical amazing healing selves. Blu (the red pony) was a little flighty at first and made some trotting laps around our big group before his curiosity got the better of him and he decided to come visit. Tori and I hung out together for an a while and she reminded me so much of my Rayn in those moments. Toward the end of her life, Rayn said she was mostly going to work with me—we had such a connection and I could hear her so easily—that she would often pop in (and still does) in sessions giving me info from the other side to help a client.

In other news, I’ve been hesitating about writing about this because in person I’ve gotten some interesting reactions. But I’m curious how you guys are thinking. So, lately, during quiet times, my Inner Voice/God/the Universe/the horses/etc have been telling me that I need to send good energy to/pray for our president. 

Me, a person who is not a fan of the current administration and is in fact, quite angry about the state of our country right now:

I snorted out loud the first time I heard this "send good energy" info, “You’ve got to be kidding me.”

I ignored it. 

Go away. I’m furious.

But I kept hearing it, particularly in the car when I was alone and it was quiet and then out with the horses too. One day, while out with the herd, I asked what I was supposed to focus on/pray for? That he would find compassion? That he would start working for equality for all? What?

Nope. The voice just said to send good energy. End of transmission LOL.

Huh. 

I’ve been struggling with this for several weeks now. I finally talked with a friend about it and it turns out, she’s been doing this for years. Interesting. 

Today, while with a Reiki client, I mentioned it and she said something that struck home, “It makes sense. How can we embody kindness when we are feeling so much anger?”

Ah. Yes. Ok. Finally something that makes sense to me. Thank you C!

I’m curious if you have any feelings about all of this? I’d love to hear them!
