Women's Circles

Hello friends! Somewhere along the way, life got busy, the years flew by, and suddenly it's harder to find both the friends and the spaces where women can really connect. Do you see yourself in any of these?

  • You’ve spent years caring for others and now you’re wondering what’s next for you.
  • Maybe you’ve lost your creative spark…or you’re wondering if you ever really had one.
  • You’re ready to try new things without worrying about whether you’re “good at them.”
  • You want a space where your wisdom is valued, your story matters, and you can actually be yourself.
  • You’re craving a sense of purpose beyond work, kids, and day to day responsibilities.
  • You’d love to connect with kind, empathetic women who lift each other up (Where are they?? Right here!)
  • You’ve noticed your friendships have shifted, and you miss the deep, in-person conversations that fill you up.
  • You feel a pull toward slowing down, noticing day to day beauty, and making space for what matters most.
  • If you’re a parent, you’ve realized it’s harder to meet new friends now that your kids have outgrown play dates.
If you nodded "yes" to even one of these, welcome—you've just found your people. This circle will help you get in touch with parts you thought you'd lost for good: play, joy, creativity. All while filling your cup to the brim with good old-fashioned friendship...and of course, ponies, mini donkeys, and goats!

• Details:

The Wednesday circle is once a week, 3 hours each. 6-9pm, $250
The Tuesday circle is once a week, 2 hours each (smaller, more intimate group). 11am-1pm, $210
Each session is 6 weeks long. It's held at The Mother Ranch on Friendship Rd, Apex, North Carolina.
We will start outside in the lower pasture (weather permitting), surrounded by the ponies and mini donkeys.
We'll have a grounding/short guided meditation and then catch up with each other's lives. This is a time when everyone gets to be heard, no fixing, just heart centered listening. Sometimes we share big stuff, sometimes small stuff, there are no rules.
Then we head into the studio where I will lead you in creating easy, fun art projects. The biggest concern I hear is, "I can't draw!" No worries, each piece of art that we create will come with a tracing that you can trace onto your paper and then we play with color: watercolors, colored pencils, acrylic inks, water soluble crayons, and more! This is a time to let go of all the rules "they' say are important and play! My goal is to provide a safe and welcoming space to explore your creativity.
I have supplies to share and will also have a short list of supplies that you'll need to buy either locally or online.
Payment note: preferred method is Venmo, Zelle, cash, check, credit card accepted with a small processing fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Women's Circles therapy or coaching? Neither, really. They are a guided creative experience where we come together to reflect, create, and connect. I facilitate the process and hold the container so everyone feels safe to be themselves.

Women’s Circles are deeper, more immersive gatherings held at The Mother Ranch with the herd present. Guided meditation, creative play with art, sometimes reflective journaling, and compassionate connection with others in the circle—and of course time with the herd of ponies and mini donkeys if the weather is cooperating!

Women who feel drawn to create, reflect, and connect in a nurturing space with others who live and identify as women. All are welcome here.

Not at all! We focus on curiosity, play, and self-expression—not perfection. Most people come here with zero art experience and most tell me, "I can't draw a stick figure!" Well that's perfect because we won't be drawing stick figures ;-)

A supply list will be emailed to you.

The Tuesday circle has 6 and the Wednesday circle has 10.

You get to choose how much you share. Many women start quietly, especially the introverts and deep feelers (which is most of us.) As the circle settles and safety builds, it’s common to open up naturally—when it feels right.

Life happens! We’ll still welcome you right back in when you’re able to join.

Weather permitting, we do the guided meditation and circle out in the pasture with the herd free to come and go at will.

These circles are for adult women (the ages currently range from 30 to 75.) However, I work privately with teen girls through individual coaching sessions.
