Hello friends!

So many of us have felt more isolated, especially since the pandemic. Maybe you've lost your creative spark or, you're wondering if you ever really had it. You're wanting to delve into your inner world a bit or wondering about that "still, small, voice" you sometimes hear.

You're looking for connection with other women but don't know how to go about finding it.

This circle will help you get in touch with parts you thought you'd lost for good: play, joy, creativity. All while filling your cup to the brim with good old fashioned friendship...and of course, horses, mini donkeys, and goats!

The animals and I can't wait to see you!

The circle is once a week, 3 hours each. Each session is a different number of weeks as I navigate holidays but generally they are about 4-6 weeks long.

Weather permitting, we start outside in the barn, surrounded by the horses, mini donkeys, and goats. We generally have a grounding/short guided meditation and the catch up with each other's lives. Then we head into the studio where I will lead you in creating easy, fun art projects. The biggest concern I hear is, "I can't draw!" No worries, each piece of art that we create will come with a tracing then we play with color: acrylic paint, colored pencils, watercolor, acrylic inks, water soluble crayons, and more! This is a time to let go of all the rules "they' say are important and play! My goal is to provide you a safe and welcoming space to explore your creativity. 

In person, at The Mother Ranch on Friendship Rd in Apex, NC. (If you're interested in an online group, please contact me and I'll add you to the waiting list.)

Weather permitting, we will start outside in the lower pasture, in the open air barn which is where all the critters can see us and we can see them.

Depending on the day we may have one of the mini donkeys or mini horses in with us, or, depending on the comfort of the group, we might open everything up and the horses and donkeys can wander among us freely.

I'll start the circle with a grounding/short guided meditation and then start a check in so we can catch up on what's been happening with each other and then talk about the artwork we'll be working on that week. Think art therapy principles, not fine art! Fun! Easy! Colorful! Low stress!

Then we'll go inside to create. There will be a tracing for you to start with and then we'll play with texture and color. I have supplies to share and will also have a short list of supplies that you'll need to buy either locally or online.
