Live Online Mixed Media Class
This piece, from a series of angel horse paintings around our chakra system, is called Angel Horse, Root Chakra.
The class is a 2 hour class, once a week for 3 weeks, 7-9pm eastern, Friday October 25th, Friday November 1st, and Friday November 8th.
This is not a drawing class, it's a fun and easy painting class online via Zoom. You will receive a tracing to use. There is a small supply list that I will send after registration. You'll be surprised what comes out of you when you allow yourself to play! There is so much joy in creating, even if you've never done it before. Many people have a few bad memories around creating art as kids and teens—teachers or parents who said just the wrong thing at the wrong time. I can't tell you how many times I heard bizarre things like, "You can't be an artist until you can draw a perfect circle (or a straight line, or, or, or 🙄)" There are a lot of "you can't, you shouldn'ts, don'ts" in children's art instruction, so weird. What happened to allowing kids to explore? To just play? That's what we will be doing! It's the PROCESS of creativity that unlocks something wonderful within us. The mantra for all of my classes: The goal is the journey.
